Step-by-step instruction

Step 1 : Accessing Software Update in Landscape Mode

  • Navigate to the settings menu by selecting the Settings (Insert a Gear Icon Here) icon.

  • Choose Device Configuration and select Software Update.

  • The device should be in landscape mode for this step, select Software Update.

Step 2 : Checking for Updates in Landscape Mode

  • If the software is already up to date, a message saying: “Device software is up to date, no update required” will appear.

Step 3 : Performing the Update in Landscape Mode

  • If an update is available, proceed with the update while the device is in landscape mode.

  • The device will display the estimated time and progress as the update proceeds.

  • Select YES to start the Software Update

Step 4 : Completing the Update in Landscape Mode

  • Once the update is complete in landscape mode, a message saying: “Update completed” will be displayed.

  • Select Close to prompt the device to restart.

  • After the device restarts, change the orientation to "Portrait" to proceed with the next phase of the update.

  • After completing the update in landscape mode, change the device orientation to portrait mode from the Device Settings > Preference > Device Setup .

  • Choose Device Configuration and select Software Update.

  • If the software is up to date for portrait mode, a message saying: “Device software is up to date, no update required” will appear.
