Date History

Data Events and Other Events

The Data History tab allows users to view and search historical events recorded by the device. Events are organized into two categories: Data Events and Other Events.

Users can filter the displayed records by date range, channel, event type, and comment availability. The event history also provides important details such as the source ID, recorded value, date and time, probe number, configured limits, and associated comments.

Accessing Data History

1. Log in to the TraceableLIVE® account.
2. Select the required device from the device list.
3. From the Data menu, select Data History.
4. The Data Events section will be displayed by default.

Viewing Data Events

The Data Events section displays the measurement-related events reported by the device.

Each record may include the following information:

• Source ID: Identifies the channel or source that generated the event.
• Value: Displays the recorded measurement value.
• Type: Displays the type of measurement, such as temperature.
• Date/Time: Shows when the event occurred.
• Event Type: Displays the type of event generated.
• Probe #: Identifies the probe associated with the event.
• Min Limit: Displays the configured minimum limit.
• Max Limit: Displays the configured maximum limit.
• Comments: Allows users to view or add comments for the selected event.

Filtering Data Events

To search for specific data events:

1. Select the required Start Date.
2. Select the required End Date.
3. Choose a channel from the Select Channel list.
4. Choose the required event from the Select Event Type list.
5. Select either All Data or Comments Only.
6. Click Search to display matching records.

Click Reset to clear the selected filters and restore the default event history view.

Data Event Types

The Select Event Type list allows users to search for specific device events, including:

• Datapost
• Maxout
• Alertpost
• Wifipost
• Maxin
• Minout
• Minin
• Acknowledgement
• Lowbattery
• Acpowerdisconnected
• WiFi Connection Restored
• Disconnectedprobe
• Newprobeconnected
• Standardconfigurations
• WiFi Connection Lost

Filtering Events by Comments

The data filter provides the following options:

• All Data: Displays all matching event records.
• Comments Only: Displays only event records that contain comments.

After selecting the required option, click Search to apply the filter.

Adding Comments to an Event

Users can add comments to individual event records for tracking, investigation, or documentation purposes.

To add a comment:

• Locate the required event in the results table.
• Click the Comments icon displayed against the event.
• Enter the required information in the Comment field.
• Click Save Comment to save the comment.

Previously saved comments will be displayed under Comment History.

Click Exit to close the window without saving a new comment.

Viewing Other Events

The Other Events section displays operational and configuration-related events generated by the device.

To view other events:

1. Select the Other Events tab.
2. Choose the required Start Date and End Date.
3. Select an event from the Select Event Type list.
4. Choose either All Data or Comments Only.
5. Click Search to display matching records.

Click Reset to remove the selected filters.

Other Event Types

The Other Events section allows users to filter records by the following event types:

• DeviceChecked
• Settings Changed
• Device Log
• Trigger
• Wifipost
