Important Note : To prevent any interruptions during the process, ensure the device remains connected to power for the entire duration. The Traceable® 7600 Smart Wi-Fi Data Logger can be added to your account seamlessly, whether the device is in portrait or landscape orientation.

Feature Description

Users can add a new device to their account by following a simple series of steps. The web application supports adding the device in the following scenarios:

  1. Adding the device to an account for the first time.

  2. Adding the device after it was initially skipped during setup.

  3. Transferring a device from one account to another.

Scenario 1: Adding the device to an account for the first time.

Step-by-step instruction

Step 1

  • Before setting up your device, have your Wi-Fi network name and password ready. During the setup process, you will connect your device to the internet, which enables the device to communicate with the TraceableLIVE® service and provide remote monitoring and configuration of your device.

Step 2

  • Turn your Traceable® 7600 Smart Wi-Fi Data Logger ON, using the Power Button

Step 3

  • First, select the language that you want your 7600 Data Logger to display. Then, select the screen orientation (either landscape or portrait) that you are going to use to mount your device.

Step 4

  • For your 7600 Data Logger to provide remote monitoring and configuration, along with sending alert notifications (in case of excursions), you will need to connect the device to your Wi-Fi network. From the dropdown list, select your Wi-Fi network and enter your network password.

Step 5

  • The 7600 Data Logger will prompt you to connect it to your TraceableLIVE® account. Select Yes to add the device, and a PIN will be displayed.

Step 6

  • Login into the Traceable Live Web app using https://app.traceablelive.com/auth/login

  • Click on Add Device button on the right corner.

  • Select Device7600 icon


  • Enter the 4 digit PIN displayed on the device.

  • If you purchased this device with an activation code, select Yes and enter the code.

  • Click Submit to add the device.

  • On the physical device, you will see the message "Device successfully added!" confirming the successful setup.

Scenario 2: Adding the device after it was initially skipped during setup.

Step-by-step instruction

Step 1

  • Ensure the device is connected to both Wi-Fi and power.

  • Navigate to the settings menu by selecting the Settings Icon.

  • Choose Device Info and select Cloud Info.

  • The 7600 Data Logger will prompt you to connect it to your TraceableLIVE® account. Select Yes to add the device, and a PIN will be displayed.

Step 2

  • Login into the Traceable Live Web app using https://app.traceablelive.com/auth/login

  • Click on Add Device button on the right corner.

  • Select Device7600 icon


  • Enter the 4 digit PIN displayed on the device.

  • If you purchased this device with an activation code, select Yes and enter the code.

  • Click Submit to add the device.

Scenario 3: Transferring a device from one account to another.

  • Deactivate the device from the existing account.

Step 2

  • Ensure the device is connected to both Wi-Fi and power.

  • Navigate to the settings menu by selecting the Settings Icon.

  • Choose Device Info and select Cloud Info.

  • The 7600 Data Logger will prompt you to connect it to your TraceableLIVE® account. Select Yes to add the device, and a PIN will be displayed.

  • Login into the Traceable Live Web app using https://app.traceablelive.com/auth/login

  • Click on Add Device button on the right corner.

  • Select Device7600 icon

FAQ

What do I do if I don’t have a prepaid activation code?

Select No during the prepaid activation step, and the device will be added without activation.

Can I edit the device details after adding it?

Yes, once the device is added, you can go back and modify any device information by selecting the device from the list.

What should I do if I lose Wi-Fi connection during setup?

During the entire process, it is very important that the device stays connected to Wi-Fi. If the device disconnects during setup, you will need to repeat all the steps, as the generated 4-digit PIN is sent to the cloud and will no longer be valid.

How do I generate a new PIN if it expires?

The 7600 Data Logger will give you the option to extend the PIN validity period or generate a new PIN when the old one expires.
